Our Wash & Fold service starts at a base rate of $22.50 per load (of 15 pounds or less). There is a minimum charge of 1 load per customer even if the weight is below 15 pounds. After the first load, additional weight is charged $1.50 per pound.

In a 2016 survey compiled by LG electronics 58% of people surveyed spent a minimum of three hours a week doing laundry, with an average of three loads per week, accumulating over 9,000 loads of completed laundry in a lifetime. According to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) the average American family does upwards of 400 loads per year. This is a lot of laundry and when you take into account the average cost at $1.52 per load including water, detergent, electricity, and equipment this is rather larger yearly expense which doesn’t include the cost of your time spent and your labor.  At $15 per hour for labor and $1.52 per load the annual cost of doing your families laundry is over $6,000.00. That’s a lot of money and a lot of time.

Knowing that time is the most precious resource in any of our lives we offer laundry and wash-and fold services so that you can spend more time doing what you love. We exercise shrewd attention when laundering your dress shirts, jeans, causal pants and shorts as well as your wash-and-fold t-shirts, socks, undergarments, pajamas and towels so that when it’s time to put them away they are ready just the way you like them.

So Fresh and So Clean Laundry GUIDELINES

  • Cost includes eco-friendly detergent and softener.

  • Loads will be sorted into lights and darks, with further separation at customer discretion.

  • We do not use chlorine bleach.

  • Items requiring stain removal will need to be appropriately marked and will be charged per item for spot removal.

  • All items must be labeled with machine washable and tumble dry care instructions. Items without care labels are done at customers risk only.

  • This program is mainly for everyday wear garments and household textiles. Draperies, special textiles, and fancy garments (i.e. formal gowns, dresses, beaded or sequined garments) will be excluded since they pose a significant risk with special cleaning procedures required. Items can be dry-cleaned if the customer requests.

  • Clean Taos Inc. will not be held responsible for fading, color changes, shrinkage, or any fabric distortion as all garments should be considered able to withstand their care instructions.

  • Clean Taos Inc. will not be held responsible for rips, tears, or abrasion as garments are subject to wear and tear during use and care. Any damage that occurs may be repaired at our discretion.

  • Clean Taos Inc. will not be held responsible for any items left in pockets which cause damage during cleaning, including but not limited to lipstick, chapstick, nails, screws, pens or markers.

  • Any missing items or claims must be made within 48 hours of pickup.
