The common misnomer is that DRY-CLEANING refers to a dry method of cleaning clothes, but this is not the case. The process of DRY-CLEANING is nearly the same as any laundry process you can think of. The primary difference is that instead of being submerged in water your garments are submerged into a liquid solution that does not penetrate the fabric like water does. Rather than penetrate the fabric the cleaning solution removes grease, oil, and schmutz from the surface of the fabric preventing the shrinking and swelling that may occur when the fabric is saturated in water.
The value of DRY-CLEANING is that it protects the brightness and color of your garments in the absence of water. DRY-CLEANING dissolves grease and oil stains better than water-based cleaning methods like wet cleaning, preserves natural fibers such as silk and wool and helps to retain your garments’ original texture, finish and sheen.

THE DRY-CLEANING PROCESS

PRELIMINARY INSPECTION
A preliminary methodical garment inspection identifies spots, stains, and other concerns to be addressed when cleaning your garment, ensures we understand any specific dry-cleaning requests, and enables us to process your items with the care they deserve.
2.
STAIN REMOVAL
Stain experts remove blemishes, spots, and stains from your garments making them look like new.
3.
CLEANING
Clothes are “washed” in a green dry-cleaning solution that is tough on stains yet gentle enough for your most delicate fabrics and the environment and leaves your clothes smelling fresh.
4.
HAND FINISHING
Our team presses and steams your garments by hand, to be certain that they are wrinkle-free, crisp, and ensure your clothes are returned to you in excellent condition exceeding your expectations.
5.
FINAL INSPECTION
After cleaning and finishing your items our team inspects them against a final and exact checklist assuring every item is returned to you looking like new.
