Our pricing begins with a base price. Additional fees are added to base prices depending on cleaning needs.

Posting prices in our store can be misleading to the customer because the cost to clean any given garment varies based on the fabric content, decorations and embellishments, and extent of stains. Clean Taos offers dry cleaning services for many types of garments, each with different prices, and the combinations of possible charges for each one based on those variants are endless.

The base price then is the least amount you can expect to pay for a garment to be cleaned. Premium fabrics, as well as certain kinds of decorations or excessive staining require special care and can increase the total price to clean a garment.

Understanding the factors that may increase the total price to specialty clean clothes can help you to get an idea of what you may spend on the cleaning when you drop off.

Those needs can include but are not limited to: fabric quality, decorations that may need to be removed before cleaning and replaced afterwards, excessive staining, excessive lint or pet hair, and special attention during the finishing process.

With Dry Cleaning, You Get What You Pay For

Cheap dry cleaning will be reflected in the finished product. Economy cleaners use lower quality dry cleaning fluid, and they use it more times before changing it out (think oil in a fryer and how you can tell if your food was cooked in old oil). They also do not have strict inspection processes after finishing. Clean Taos hand inspects all garments to make sure they are acceptable to return to customers, and if not, we work on them more until they are. Of course, mistakes do happen, and things are sometimes missed, but we also guarantee your satisfaction and will offer a 'redo' at no additional cost if ever we fall short. Budget cleaners make no such promises.

If you would like We Will Absolutely provide a detailed price quote when requested, before bleaning your garments. We will be more than happy to go over each garment in your order, checking for stains and looking at the care tags and fabric content with you, so we can determine the exact cost to clean a given item. Then you can determine if the price is amenable to you and decide to leave the garment to be cleaned or to shop around.

express SERVICES on all dry/wet clean and household and specialty cleaning incur an ADDITIONAL charge on each item.

Standard turnaround time on all specialty cleaning is one week. For items expressed to a three-day turnaround there is a 30% charge. For 24-hour service there is a 50% charge. All express alteration and repair services incur a 50% charge on each item. Additional fees (for things including but not limited to hair removal, excessive stain removal, fecal, urine and vomit stains. Etc.)
